I’m sooo tired right now, I can barely think straight. I had my first review at work today and was told they were very pleased at how well I was fitting in with everyone and was obviously a hard worker. I guess it is always gratifying to hear they are pleased with me but why does everything have to be so difficult?

My boss outlined all the courses I’d have to go on to “develop” myself within the dept, yadda, yadda, yadda. *sigh* Why can’t ppl just go to work, do the damn job and get paid without all the sucking up that has to be done? “Look at me, I went on all the courses and I’m a teamplayer, gimme that bonus right now. ”

Hello?! I’m there for the wage packet at the end of the month and I don’t particularly want to be the next prime minister. Why the hell do I have to prove anything? My work should speak for itself.
