I finally bought one on Thursday with some of the holiday money I never spent. I thought the games were region coded which is why I didn’t bother buying one in the US but as it turns out I was wrong about that. I’ve been thinking about buying one of these babies for months but kept coming up with excuses because I’m not much for playing games and decided it would be a waste of money. However, I really liked the look of the Brain Training stuff because those types of games I do like. I’m much more of “work it out” type rather than “shoot ‘em all up” type. When I started the game, my brain age was 63 which was not good but by the end I had it down to 44 which is better. The ideal brain age is 20 apparently. I also did my very first Sudoku puzzle which always looked complicated to me because it was numbers. I’m not a number person - never have been.
It was also a present I promised myself for having the guts to actually apply for promotion when the very idea of it made me want to be sick. I went for my interview on Thursday and I was so anxious before it I was literally shaking. I don’t do interviews well because nerves always get the better of me and everything I say sounds naff. I really don’t know how I did and the more I analyse it - the worse I feel. I just hope I did enough and my work reports will be taken into consideration too because I’m being put forward for a bonus. Something that very rarely happens at my work. I’m trying not to think about it too much because I feel like I’m torturing myself but I’m not looking forward to the humiliation if I failed. I’ve had a lot of positive feedback from people at work who know I had an interview and a few have said they will be very angry if I don’t get it.
I also got my Born Free welcome pack this morning which is way cool. I’m a gold member which means I had to select which type of animals I wanted to support. It was difficult choice because I love big cats and wolves, but I ultimately went for marine life because I just feel drawn to whales and dolphins more than any others. I suppose the money is used for everything but it just means I get sent more marine newsletters.

I have one, and I was sooooo addicted to the Brain Game when I first got it. The lowest my brain age ever was, was 21. Now it’s up somewhere around 60 again. LOL.
I also have a few other games for it, but I especially love the brain challenge ones, puzzles, etc. So much fun!
