Doing a post on them soon. Edinburgh Castle is more like a military barracks and there isn't much to see in the Royal Palace. It really depends on what's inside the castle in regard to photos since some furnishings and paintings are too delicate. I wonder if they allow photos taken inside? They allowed that when we visited Dublin Castle, which I think is awesome when they do. Here in Sweden it's very often forbidden to take photos inside and of course I understand why, butt I don't like it anyway. Sounds like our luck when trying to go to the secret island! *giggles*
