Stepping Up The FunSeptember 6th, 2007 @ 6:24 pm
I’ve had a rough week at work and I’m tired of feeling so down. It’s time to move on!
Some of you may be aware that I’m part of a Cyber Cruise hosted by Mrs Lifecruiser which gives visitors a chance to “visit” other countries around the world and explore new cultures. When I first heard about the cruise, I thought it was a crazy idea and that it would never work but I decided to hang around anyway. I started out as an A Swab member which meant I could “visit” but couldn’t “host” which I really, really wanted to do because it was so much more fun.
Anyway, when the cruise came off its hiatus, I was determined to do better and I got promoted to A Team Cruiser which meant I got to take my fellow cruisers on special trips! The cruise started off as just a fun way of getting to know other bloggers but it has become so much more and it is breaking down a lot of cultural barriers. Something that is so important in this day and age! I’ve made a lot of new friends and I’ve learned a lot from the posts (I will never think Norsemen are only Norwegian again). See, the cruise is educational as well as being fun!
So, to all my fellow cruisers: thanks for taking the time to visit me and leaving me wonderful comments. To Mrs Lifecruiser, thanks for having such a wonderful idea. To the rest of you, why aren’t you with us?
PS: Watch out for a special cyber cruise competition coming to a computer screen near you!
(Dutifully, adds suggested links so she gets to keep her luxury cabin!)

Awwww…. That is just soooo sweet of you to promote the cruise in such a nice way!!!!
You know, I was very glad when you jumped aboard, I really wanted you to.
You’ll defenitely get some extra stars in Captain’s log for this
Oh, yes, we’ve had such a fun time doing these cruises…
Not only with regular travels: remember the crazy hat parade? The pirate bay were we were boarded by pirates? The train robbery? The cruise ball…?
Oh, my, so much fun, so many nice cruisers - and we have more to come - that’s the best of all!!!
For me that hasn’t been able to travel in real life for a while now, this has been a lifesaver really and that’s also how the idea was born for me - to keep me alive…. *giggles*

You are so right. When I tell friends about this cruise, they look at me as I should have gone mad. But when I tell them the structure, the idea, where we have been, what we have learned - and as a conlusion: The best made Travel Guide ever - They look down and realize: It’s a genious way to learn new people and places.
